Honey/ Olive Oil Tasting: Honey and olive oil tasting is available between 10-10:30 AM daily. Taste the best raw honey & organic olive oil produce fresh from local farms. It is on a First-Come-First-Serve basis and one private party at a time. Please reserve with our innkeeper 24 hours before. For an in depth experience, schedule a workshop to Infuse Flower, Tea, & Culinary Herbs you personally pick on our farm into Honey and Organic Olive Oil of your choice (Advanced Reservation Required)
Watch the Sunset on the Deck – Watch the breathtaking Sunset on your deck. Enjoy a complimentary Ayurvedic Tea in the lounge. Order a Happy Hour Package or any of the WELL Delight Packages with a bottle of organic bubbly drink, cheese board or charcuterie board, organic dark chocolate and seasonal fruit, delivered with candle lights
Share Bike in the City of Encinitas. A share bike station is located right in front of Cotton Creek Park right by the Inn.

Yoga on the Deck – Sanitized yoga mats available for yoga on your patio or in your room. Private yoga sessions can also be arranged.

Create your Own Succulent, Herb, Vegetable or Pollinator Garden to bring Home. Be creative and pick from a variety of wood planters hand made at the inn, plant with herbs, & succulents we have grown at our biodynamic farm.

A visit to an organic hobby farm is a peaceful and unique outing for families. The animals that children have been reading about come to life. The farm visits are educational, fun, and hands-on with interactive time in the barnyard surrounded by animals. Pricing: Private Farm Tour Barnyard Animal Visit ( under 8 people): $120/90 minutes.
Butterfly Farms: Daily April through November from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. PRICING: $6/person, children age 2 and under free. Payment is due on or before the date of the visit.

Moonlight Beach or any beach in San Diego. Borrow a chair, beach towel, umbrella, and boogie board from our beach amenity closet and enjoy the sun and water!
Rent a Bike at Ride Cyclery (one block away) or e-bike at Charlie’s e-bike in downtown Encinitas. Pick up a shared E-Bikes at entrance of Cotton Creek Park, next to the Inn to explore our beach town.
Surf Lessons for the Family at Moonlight Beach with Eli Howard Surf School
Picnic at the Beach or at Cottonwood Creek Park next door – Pack a picnic lunch or breakfast and enjoy it at the park at the end of the block and enjoy some sunshine.

Kayak at La Jolla Shores – This summer is a great time to kayak at La Jolla Shores to see the Sea Caves, marine life, and leopard sharks. Several different companies offer kayaking tours, or you can launch your own kayak at the free boat ramp. One of the best San Diego events. July is a great month, but make reservations.
HIKING NEARBY
San Elijo Lagoon
La Orilla Trail begins on the eastside of San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve and continues westward for about 3.5 miles. Enjoy a stroll through four distinct plant communities: from the shade of riparian woodlands, further down to the marsh, along hillside chaparral and coastal sage scrub. Listen for the tapping of woodpeckers, or watch for mule deer grazing vegetation along creek banks. Directions: I-5 to Lomas Santa Fe exit. Drive east off exit. Turn left on Highland Rd (4-way stop). Turn left on El Camino Real. Look for the parking area on the left before the 90-degree bend in the road.
Santa Carina Trail starts on the Southeast side of the San Elijo Lagoon. Enjoy a walk through this coastal sagebrush community towards the north to Tern Point. From there, you can look for birds in the marsh below. Along the way you can look for signs of the Kumeyaay people who left shells and other clues to their way of life in middens found around the lagoon. Directions: I-5 to Lomas Santa Fe exit. Head East. Left at first street: Santa HelenaLeft on Santa Rosita, Left on Santa CarinaDrive to end of Santa Carina, and park curbside.
Rios San Elijo
This walk will take us on San Elijo Lagoon’s south side. We will ramble through riparian woodlands and coastal sage scrub, with great views of the salt marsh We usually see a wide variety of birds and plants. Directions: From I 5: West on Lomas Santa Fe. Right on N. Rios Avenue. Drive to the end of N. Rios Avenue, and park curbside.
San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center
You can stroll along the Loop Trail through the reserve and see excellent wetland views. The level, half-mile loop provides close-up encounters with the salt marsh and a boardwalk that traverses a riparian woodland. Interpretive displays highlight animals and plants of these habitats. The Nature Center provides a fun and interactive scavenger hunt for all ages. There are many opportunities for bird watching. Directions: 2710 Manchester Avenue Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA 92007. Take the I-5 to Manchester exit, and drive west on Manchester Avenue.
Annie’s Canyon Trail ( Also named Slot canyon a portion of San Elijo Lagoon)

Upper San Dieguito Park
San Dieguito is a 125-acre park located in Solana Beach. There are fantastic trails winding throughout the park’s native habitat. You can hike through the park to find lookouts, wooden bridges, ladders, and ponds. Directions: Take I-5 to Lomas Santa Fe exit east. Turn left at Highland Dr. The park is on the right. Just past the empty toll booth at the Highland Dr. entrance area there are picnic tables. We will meet and pick up at this location.
